Q: What are the closed tests?
A: Closed Tests are short and experimental tests with raw, minimally tested development builds. These tests are not Alpha+, Alpha 2 or Beta, but a separate track of small-scale testing to help Redhill move towards the next bigger test and find the direction for Nine to Five. You can read more about them here: https://www.ninetofive.game/nine-to-five-closed-tests-are-coming/
Q: How do I sign up for the closed tests?
A: If you feel comfortable with playing experimental development builds that have gone through only minimal testing, go ahead and sign up here
Q: What if I want to experience a more stable and balanced version of the game?
A: If you want a clean gaming experience, and hate it when a game is unbalanced and includes some unusual bugs, we highly suggest you wait for the next bigger test instead. For these you can sign up here.
A: For now we do ask you to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement as well as confirm you are 18 or over. Capturing and sharing videos, screenshots, or live streams of the game is not allowed at this early stage. As the game evolves and we are closer to completion we would be delighted to have you share visual material of the game online. However, for now we ask you to kindly respect this rule, should you want to join the tests for Nine to Five. This might change for future tests, but we will let you know
Q: Can I see gameplay?
A: Yes, watch the alpha gameplay trailer here: https://youtu.be/2fvhihBJNPI
Q: Where will you have servers during the tests
A: For now, we will have servers in two locations, Europe and North America. We are not going to put any limitations on people from other regions to come and join the playtest. In such cases, your latency might get a hit, but by the numbers we get from our internal tests it seems that the situation should be pretty OK for the majority of regions. We will let you know if we decide to open servers in other regions besides Europe and NA as well.
Q: Which languages do you currently support
A: We currently support both English and Russian
Q: How big is the team / What is Redhill?
A: Nine to Five is Redhill’s first game. The company was founded in 2018 by Matias Myllyrinne, Milos Jerabek, Katya Dolgova and Mikko Uromo. The founders and many others at Redhill have worked together previously in big companies like Remedy, Wargaming, Bohemia Interactive etc. We are currently a team of 45 people and slowly growing. Our main office is in Helsinki, Finland and we have a smaller one in Nicosia, Cyprus. In addition, we have people working from home offices around the world.
The team is international with around 12 nationalities so far. We are still small for a PC game company, and we like to keep it very “family-like”. Of course, this means that we don’t have all the resources and perks of huge companies, so we hope you understand and bear with us as we work hard to develop Nine to Five.
Q: Will you work with content creators before/during/after alpha?
A: We are definitely interested in talking with creators and discussing potential partnerships and ways to collaborate in the future. If you are a content creator with a collaboration idea or you are interested in doing something with Nine to Five and Redhill in the future, please send a message with a link to your channel(s) to social@redhillgames.com. Thanks!
