Companion abilities are perks and skills that improve the effectivity of your companion in the field. You can choose one Active and one Passive for your Companion.
Companion fires a dart – if it hits an enemy player – they get spotted for the entire friendly team with a dynamic ping for a duration.
When activated, the companion deploys and becomes stationary (player can’t move unless the ability is deactivated again). From this point onwards, any enemies in line of sight and range will be periodically spotted for the entire friendly team.
When activated, the companion becomes stationary and channels a proximity hack (can be interrupted by cancelling the ability to become movable again). If not interrupted or destroyed, when the proximity hack finishes – all enemy electronics in range will switch ownership to the companion’s team (for the round duration, unless hacked again). Works through walls, but the range is not that big.
When stationary for a time, companion turns almost invisible to the naked eye.
Movement speed of the companion is significantly increased.
If your companion is destroyed in battle, it will be automatically 3D printed and will become available to use again after 30 seconds.
How to change companion abilities
To change the companion abilities, go to the Loadouts screen in the Main Menu or during a match. On the top right corner of the screen you should be able to find a drop down for both the Active and Passive abilities:
