The Armor Support Systems (A.S.S.) are perks/systems that you can attach to the different sections of your armor to provide various benefits and give you the edge on the field. Please note that each armor set has a different amount of A.S.S slots, so keep in mind the tradeoff between survivability and perks.
Head systems
Signal Detector:
Whenever the player is detected by enemy abilities, equipment, or armor systems, they are notified with a widget in the HUD.
Ballistic Chip
Whenever the player gets hit by an enemy projectile (mercenary weapons, potentially expandable to turrets later), the position of the shooter is displayed with a static ping to the player and all their teammates.
Smoke Guard
Whenever the player is downed, they will automatically release a cloud of Disrupting Smoke around their body.
Torso Systems
Organized Rig
Player ammunition capacity is increased for both the primary and the secondary weapon.
Muscle Enhancer
All interaction times are significantly reduced (placing barricades, placing items, interacting with items, reviving etc.)
Blood Bank
Automatically stops bleeding. Will very slowly regenerate HP/blood over time.
Life Signs Silencer
Whenever you are detected with enemy abilities, equipment or armor systems, the duration of each detection effect is reduced.
Leg systems
Kinetic Dampeners
Player’s falling damage/injuries are greatly reduced.
Blast Padding
Player’s legs are more resistant to damage and effects from fire, trip mines, and spring traps.
Tactical Pouch

How to equip or change my Armor Support Systems.
To choose your Armor Support Systems, head over to the Loadouts screen in the Main menu. On the lower right section of the screen, you can find your current A.S.S setup. To modify it, just click on any of the systems and a popup will open to allow you to select your A.S.S. for the loadout. (Screenshot below)
Please keep in mind that your Loadout will heavily affect the amount of Support Systems as well as items that you can carry, so be mindful of the tradeoff when going for more protection.
